So happy to see these silly lovebirds finally tie the knot. I met Joe when he was planning his surprise proposal to Leena at Romare Bearden Park. Watching him guide her down to the water fountain, and seeing her hold back tears as he kneeled down with the Charlotte city skyline behind them was truly breathtaking. What an awesome day. From the exchange of goofy jokes during preparation to the Gangnam Style-get down at the reception, this wedding was a lot of fun to cover. The ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church was beautiful, and I loved covering the traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony they performed at the reception.
