Ali and Tim's wedding day did not start off the way I had imagined. Talking to Ali on the phone as I pulled up to her house, it was clear from the sound in her voice that something wasn't right. Adam Coker and I teamed up to film Shawn and Regan's wedding video, and we had such a great time. The two of us drove out to Pullen Park in Raleigh to meet up with them a few weeks prior to the wedding in order to break the ice, get to know one another, and hear Shawn and Regan's love story. Regan is this beautiful, bubbly, young spirit, and her laugh is absolutely contagious. What an awesome day. From the exchange of goofy jokes during preparation to the Gangnam Style-get down at the reception, this wedding was a lot of fun to cover. The ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church was beautiful, and I loved covering the traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony they performed at the reception. At a Fourth of July pool party, hosted by the Preston Flats Lawn Tennis and Social Society, I had the privilege of meeting Natalie and Chad.
